That 40th anniversary jacket looks good on Ron Dyke. Ron's a great guy who collects Yamahas with hydraulic clutches. He has an amazing collection.
A tale of two Merc's, a 1968 (250?) family sled and a 1975 340 Twister.
CTV News (Kitchener) did a feature story on the event and this 1962 Ski-Doo and owner from Keswick.
My son Eric turned heads when he took our Twister for a ride........it has stinger pipes!
There was quite a collection of John Deere sleds (15+) and John Deere suits this day. JDX's, Spitfires, Cyclones, Liquifires, and even a Liquidator showed up!

Phil, I just got back from a tour of Polaris in Roseau. Had a tour of the plant and experience centre. We will have story soon on the 1964 Comet and how it almost sunk Polaris and how the 65 Mustang saved the company.
This was the 1st Lake Belwood event that did not have ANY Polaris sleds! Seeing as Polaris "bought" John Deere, do all those green sleds qualify as a Polaris display? Do the OMC sleds(SnowCruisers, Johnson + Evinrude) now count as Bombardier sleds?
I'm sure Hal will take care of this next year. He'll probably fly in Bob Eastman and a dozen of the Midnight Blue Express sleds!
